How to Care for Human Hair Extensions


Mind your hair extensions to keep them in the best condition possible. They are valuable accessories to your look and are actually quite easy to maintain.
All you need to know is a few basic care instructions as outlined below.These tips can help you keep human hair extensions looking fabulous and lasting longer .
Schedule regular appointments with your hairstylist for trims, tightening and the addition of new bonds. Try to maintain your hair as clean as possible.

Comb hair with a wide tooth comb starting at the ends and work your way up to the scalp. Do not brush too harshly.Start at the ends of your hair and gently work

your way up.This will remove tangles that put strain on the hair extension bonds. Perform this step at least 2 times a day.Brush it carefully before washing in order  
to keep the extensions disentangled.  


Tilt your head back and start at the scalp and work to the ends when shampooing hair. Massage the scalp gently, and do not rub shampoo into the bonds. Rinse
 hair with warm water and be careful to remove all shampoo to prevent residue buildup and dandruff.


Wet it gradually beforehand.Wash gently in cool to warm water. Do no scrub roughly while washing.



Wash your hair soon after any exercise, brushing before hand to remove tangles.When exercising, it is recommended to wear the hair in a ponytail. Sweat and dirt
tangles hair.


Wash your extensions a maximum of 3 times a week with moisturizing hair care products. Because your extensions are not getting natural oils from your scalp to
keep your hair in good condition, this will keep the moisture in from shampooing while at the same time not drying them out from over-shampooing


Use products that will soften your hair, however take care of the amount of conditioner you use, don't exaggerate you'll hair will only tangle. Run your fingers through
your hair several times a day in order to keep it separated


It is recommended to blow dry your extensions.  But take care because very hot settings can do damage just like your own hair!


It is forbidden to sleep on wet hair,make sure the hair is completely dry before going to bed. you won't be able to disentangle it later, make it completely dry.It is best to
braid the hair and tie it up with a satin scarf or bonnet.It's best not to wash more than 3 times a week unless you have a very oily scalp.
